July 3, 2017 8:30 am
Did you know that the term ‘cold’ actually stands for the absence of heat? There is no such thing as cold, the feeling we describe as ‘feeling cold’ is actually our body loosing heat. Unfortunately, the past few days we’ve been experiencing that feeling more than ever. The weather is weird, isn’t it? With its constant mood swings we don’t know if it’s going to be cloudy, rainy or snowy…
Tired of feeling cold all the time? Don’t worry, in today’s post were are going to show you 5 ways to stop feeling cold in winter:
1.Wear layers of clothes
The more, the better! Wearing layers of clothes will keep you warm and protected. If the weather decides to change and go crazy, don’t worry! Just take off a few layers and you’ll be ready to go ;)

2. Check the weather forecast
This way you’ll be able to know what the weather will be like for the upcoming days. Plan ahead! It can change completely from one day to another. Don’t let it surprise you, be ready for any circumstance: wear a hoodie or rain jacket if it’s going to rain or a thicker and warmer coat if the temperature is going to drop.

3.Prepare your outfit the night before
There’s nothing worse than waking up on a winter morning. You find yourself warm and comfy only to have to stand up and deal with the unbearing cold. To avoid this, we reccomend you to prepare the outfit you want to wear the night before, this way you won’t get cold nor loose time while picking what to wear.

4. Drink hot drinks
During winter, hot drinks become our new best friends. It doesn’t matter if it’s tea, coffee or hot chocolate, there’s nothing compared to the feeling of inside warmness that you experience while drinking them. Bonus: you will also warm your hands will grabbing the cup, so that’s definitely a plus ;)

5. Don’t skip meals
Going back to the most basic science concept learned at school : food gives you energy. If you skip meals, your body will not have enough energy to regulate your body temperature and keep you warm. Imagine a remote control with low battery, that’s you when you skip meals: you don’t function well and you feel cold all the time.
