Esa era yo toda afanada por que empezara el desfile de esta dupla de diseñadores sevillanos que se robaron mi corazón con su simpatía , creatividad y calidad humana. Fijo tenía que reflejarse en sus creaciones y parecía niñito que está por subirse a Space Mountain después de dos horas bajo el sol #EmocionadísimoHastaNoPoderMás.

Ya me habían adelantado los dos en el desayuno que íbamos a ver su línea de primavera pret-à-porter y 12 vestidos de novia (OBVIO). Primaron siluetas ligeras y delicadas con mezclas de gazas, sedas y diferentes telas superpuestas. Rico en textura con hojas y flores que se trabajaron como en otra dimensión para las piezas. Una maestría impresionante con esta superposición pues no se sentía volumen, la ligereza y movimiento eran geniales. Muy chic, para una chica joven pero con flexibilidad de que lo usen mujeres mayores también.

I’m ready, I’m ready, I’m ready…

That was me on the first row completely head over heels before the runway show by this duo of designers from Sevilla started. Little did I know it would steal my heart because of their talent, creativity, sympathy and human quality. Of course this all showed down the runway. I felt like a little boy about to ride Space Mountain after two hours in line under the sun #AsExcitedAsCanBe.

In the exclusive breakfast I shared with these men and a handful of bloggers, they told us we would see some of their spring prey-è-porter and 12 wedding gowns (of course). Light and delicate silhouettes with gauze, silks and a superposition of different textures. Rich in texture with leaves and flowers that were worked as if they were in a separate plane. This was superbly done since, even though so many layers were overlapping, the designs didn’t have too much volume; they were light and flowy. Very chic, designed clearly for a young woman but able to embrace also more experienced women.

Evidentemente no pude dejar de notar los hermosos zapatos. Los tacos y los oxfords, me encantaron los colores, straps y transparencias, los querías TODITITOS. Uno los fetales que mas me encantó, fue que para los vestidos largos usaron zapatos chatos. Se veía muy fresco.

Evidently I couldn’t help but notice the gorgeous shoes. The heels and oxford flats, with various colors, straps and mix of sheers were a home run #TalkingAboutKickingItOffThePark. I wanted them ALL. I particularly loved that for maxi dresses, they went in the surprising yet genius direction of pairing them with flat shoes. Such a fresh perspective.

Aquí se ve claramente la superposición que les mencionaba. ¿No es HERMOSO?

Los sombreros no son para usar al día a día, evidentemente. Creo que eran más como statement pieces para la pasarela.

* Hats are not necessarily a day-to-day piece. They were magnificent statement pieces on the runway.

Luego salieron los vestidos de novia. Jose y José Luis nos contaron que estos son 12 que han escogido a lo largo de su carrera de 30 años como alguno icónicos para mostrar al Peru cuál es su visión. Siempre buscando enfatizar la belleza femenina. ¡Ya voy ahorrando para que el día que me case me diseñen ellos el vestido!

Then, the wedding gowns came out. Jose and José Luis told us that these 12 were a recompilation of 12 dresses they selected throughout their entire career (their 30 years long career) as some of the most iconic. This is how they wanted to introduce their vision to Perú. All about enhancing the feminine beauty. I’m starting to save my own money so one day I may get married in one of these.

El último vestido, del que desafortunadamente no tengo foto, fue mi favorito. TENÍA MI NOMBRE ESCRITO POR TODOS LADOS #HeDicho. Silueta sirena delicado con hermosa caída y falda caracol, un sello de este par de diseñadores.

The last dress, which unfortunately my photographer was unable to capture, was my favorite. IT HAD MY NAME WRITTEN ALL OVER IT. Mermaid silhouette with an amazing fall and snail skirt (a trademark of these designers).
